In line with the development of several coal and mineral mining projects, we require a Project Engineer – Coal & Mineral Development to support project preparation and execution across multiple stages—from exploration, feasibility, development, to operation. The role will provide technical support, ensuring that project activities are well-integrated and technically sound.

Provide technical support and coordination during technical due diligence, exploration, development, and operational stages of mining projects.

Support in geological modelling, resource evaluation, and mine planning activities.

Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including maps (using software such as ArcGIS or QGIS), reports, plans, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct site visits to perform technical investigations and collaborate with teams to ensure technical alignment across project phases.

Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring quality and compliance with project objectives.

Contribute to the preparation of feasibility and development studies, including technical inputs to project design and evaluation.

Related Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.

Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in mining project development, covering both exploration and production activities.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of geological modelling and mine planning.

Software Proficiency: * Mining software: Minescape, Surpac, Datamine, Micromine, or equivalent.

Mapping software: ArcGIS, QGIS for geological and spatial analysis.

Skills: * Capable of preparing clear and well-structured technical reports and documents.

Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
